Owned and operated by Keith Schuman, Recycle Music sits on the corner of Arizona and NW Bond in Bend, Oregon. The crew and I went to check out some records and shoot the Bustin 38" Boombox. The shop is packed from floor to ceiling with music in different forms. There are over 20,000 new and used records on display in this little shop. In addition to those, they offer DVDs, CDs, tapes, sound systems, and vintage collectable toys.
Open since September of 2012, Recycled Music has constant foot traffic. Keith and Travis were continuously busy as they spoke with customers about different albums, artists, and vinyl quality. While they talked about music of every shape and form, Ryan, Scott, Taylor and I started shooting the Bustin Boards Boombox.
This deck fit in on the first beat. The smaller of the two Boombox shapes, the 38" was easy to carry through the tight isles and stash when needed. The ThermoGlass Construction under the graphic makes this beauty rockin' and as durable as the New York skate culture.
The Bustin Boca 75mm 82a Wheels, rocker, and concave dialed up the comfort of this ride to full blast. The soft flex absorbed the bumps and cracks on the sidewalk. Fitted with 180mm Paris Trucks, the micro drop platform and kicktails made commuting to Recycled Music a freestyle blast.
