Landyachtz 41" Evo Longboard Complete

I got this as a "stratch and dent" with the green Venus flytrap graphics. I got the complete TLS setup except for the green graphics. This board rides like a Ferrari - and is about as pratical. Just like you wouldn't want to commute in Manhattan in a Ferrari, you wouldn't want to take this board to the grocery store. If you want to skate around town and have a little fun on hills, get a Dinghy or Pocket Knife. The only cruising you will be doing on this one is to your favorite hill. Once there, you won't find a better board. TLS shippes board with relatively loose trucks. Most of the time, I install hard Khirov bushings and tighten the trucks. With this one, I just hopped on it and skated to my local 20-25MPH hill wihout adjusting the trucks at all. Even with the loose trucks, this board is absolutely stable at speed. I thought the "car steerling" geometry would make for slower turns, but it carves just as hard as my other longboards. The Monster Hawgs are smooth, fast and roll over everything. I had so much confidence in this set up, the first time I ran them, I used a gravel strewn section of pavement to slow down. I am also not sure if I can slide them as they stick like Formula one tires. Great for confidence if you are going really fast. If I ever manage to make it to the "Big Drop" in Chilie, it will be on this board!
