Landyachtz 39.25" Drop Speed Longboard Deck

I bought this board from TLS about six months ago. When it came in the mail with my trucks, wheels, and all those other goodies, I was riding it within the hour. After breaking in the wheels, I was pulling some insane tricks and pushing my limits with ease. I use this board for sliding about 95% of the time that I go out for a session. The other times I go out, it is mainly for DH. For DH purposes, this board is nothing special, and I would recommend something like the LY R5 for all the serious Downhillers. As far as sliding and freeriding goes, this board is spectacular, especially for beginners. I love the W concave in that it is only a slight bump so it is not too uncomfortable but still gets the job done. The length and width are perfectly sized so you fit on the board comfortably. My main complaints about this board is that its grip (along with all Landyachtz products) is unbelievably smooth so that I slide off the board at least one time per session. I have bought some vicious grip to counteract this problem, and is a very quick and easy fix-up. The other complaints are about the deck of wood itself. While I love a sturdy board, I believe that the thickness of the board is slightly too large, thus making it a little harder then I would like to break the wheels free with the added weight. I also would like some gas pedals to be added in future updates, as I like to hang my feet off a little to get some extra leverage. Other than these issues, the board is a standup piece of machinery that has obviously had lot's of thought put into it's design, and it shows.
